Despite a long history of primarily first-person shooter games, the Turok franchise has only made it onto the PC a handful of times. Now, with a full reboot, Touchstone is also looking to bring dinosaur hunting onto home computers everywhere. They announced today that along with PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 incarnations in February, Turok will be hitting the PC.

The PC port will be handled by Aspyr Studios, a team that’s made a reputation for doing solid PC ports including Dreamfall: The Longest Journey and Stubbs the Zombie. Turok for the PC will include all the console edition’s offerings, including a full single-player campaign and online multiplayer with up to 16 players.

Turok is ready to start slitting leathery dinosaur throats on the 360 and PS3 on February 5, 2008, but all Touchstone will offer up for a PC release date right now is the shadowy “Spring 2008.” While we dig for more dirt on how similar the PC version is.
