Last week, Microsoft revealed a list of seven new Xbox Live Arcade titles expected to release within the coming weeks, and today, we know that two of the titles, Switchball and Word Puzzle, will be available this Wednesday, November 7th.
Switchball, from Atomic Elbow and Sierra Online, takes the maze-navigating gameplay from Super Monkey Ball and Marble Blast Ultra and infuses it with a shape-shifting ball that enables distinct abilities. By transforming into the Metalball, Speedball, Powerball, or Airball, players can utilize the advantages of each ball form to traverse the five environment types. Two-player co-op play and eight-player competitive races via Xbox Live are also on tap in Switchball.
Word Puzzle, developed by InterServ, takes word search puzzles from the printed page and displays them on your television, complete with 3D environments, word bombs, and other special challenges and effects. Five game modes will be included, along with Xbox Live Vision camera support.
Each title will retail for 800 Microsoft points ($10) and will be available Wednesday morning at 2am PST.
