Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group has entered into an agreement to acquire TT Games, which encompasses Traveller’s Tales, one of the world’s largest independent game developers, and TT Games Publishing, the UK-based game publisher behind the LEGO Star Wars videogames, “Bionicle Heroes” and many others.
TT Games was formed in 2005 with the merger of the developer Traveller’s Tales and publisher Giant Interactive Entertainment. Traveller’s Tales has been making games for more than 18 years, with over 42 million copies sold to date across all major platforms. The first title to be published by TT Games was the award-winning “LEGO Star Wars: The Videogame”, which sold more than six million units worldwide.
